The Male Chronic Block at High Royds formerly Menston Asylum. This is the very last ward to be converted although the clock tower/admin building is still as was. This was the original male chronic block (circa 1896) and included the refractory ward in ward 8. This block more recently, after closure was the filmset for ‘No Angels’ and up until last week the social club on the lower floor (ward 10).
